    Bobsled Trail Conditions

I'm thinking about heading up to bobsled some time around Thanksgiving but am wondering about snow. I am up in Logan right now and I know that it is generally colder than SLC and has more snow and we don't have much at the moment but does anybody know about the bobsled trail?

He Who Controls the Spice, Controls the Bobsled

As would be expected this time of year, the spice wars are completely out of control as fortold in the Kwisatz Haderach prophecy. The malevolent House Harkonnen with the aid of the native Freman have been on a quest to protect the Bobsled from the ruler Padishah Emperor Shaddam Corrino IV who uses it to 'fold space' and safely guide would be travelers towards rogue jumps and shady landings. Thus creating a feudal galatic empire based around the consumption of melange, commonly known as spice, it's slang being 'Bobsled.'
Fortunately the Dukes son, Paul Atreides, a young man who dreams prophetic visions of a Bobsled free of high posting Harkonnens skidding the world he's created up has taken it upon himself to protect it.

So, that's the last I heard. I took this snapshot of Paul doing some work on the car gap just yesterday while the Harkonnens sat waiting to destroy all his hard work:

You don't have the weirding way. Clearly, SLCRMR does.
I only attempt to change the world in the appropriate World-Changing venues and forums.

what's really weird is you can see the creases in that picture that SLCRMR scanned in...does he keep old pictures of Paul Atreides folded up in his wallet....makes you wonder.

Yeah, it is kind of weird, but anyway... anybody have the bobsled trail conditions? We would like to do it on Wednesday or Thursday on our DH rigs.

Wallet? Paul would be so offended.
His photo gets his very own man bag with recycleable drinking water supply and detachable thumper harness.

On a side note, it's laminated for your protection. Makes cleaning up a bit easier .

I don't know if I should take offense at your post or not. I think it was written out as clearly as the rest of the misinformation found all over this website .

By the way, Go-Ride.com will no longer be carrying the keys to Bobsled gate.

Yeah, I know. Kinda hits you right here.

If you want a copy after the New Year you'll have to visit Bob's Lock and Key. Tell them Gaston J. Feeblebunny sent you and they'll knock 10% off the key and a jimmy the next time your dad locks the keys in the Buick at 2am outside the Twilight Lounge.

Bobsled was a little dusty this afternoon and be careful as a rock must have rolled down off one of the berms and is on the turn towards the lower middle of the top section. I would have stopped and moved it but I'm an American by birth (from direct descendants of Canada so I'm all freeride and shhit too) and we don't do such things.

Maybe we can get someone of Dutch heritage to swagger up there and clean that mess up?

That worm-gap took out a not-so-frequent-anymore poster on this beloved website at the beginning of the year. I'd post up the carnage here again, but don't want to hurt his feelings or that of the worm.

I guess this brings a new meaning to a hijacked thread. How much snow came down in SLC? I guess it might get to ride it until spring/summer.

I had set up a couple of webcams along 'the Sled', commonly known as Ted Thurlough's Mighty Drainage And Salvage Yard 2011, but they were torn down in the latest anti-Bobsled modification political action.

Apparently disrupting the powder snow outside of the burned in center line is seen as bad form in some circles, but a man's gotta do what a man's gotta do to get first tracks.

My intention was to put up a pay to view site based on an outdated and controversial credit card capture program that was commonly used on pornographic websites back in the late 90's, for up to the minute Bobsled conditions but its release has been pushed back indefinitely.

    What does that mean?

Well, it means that you'll have to push your old Stinky up there yourself to see what the 411 is.
It also means those sitting around waiting with a wetnap and a bottle of tea tree scented Jergins for the bonus Chumley Shower cam and the reality show, Chumley, Under the Covers Over the Bobsled may be in for a bit of disappointment.

Can anyone see into the future and tell me what I-street is going to be like on Sunday at 11:23?

Well nevermind rain probably made it shitty.

Bobsled is a drainage. If it's warm between December and March, you can count on it being muddy (read: fun).

Thought about heading up this afternoon but couldn't escape work soon enough. Might try tomorrow if it's not too shitty out.

Sadly, I was unable to ride owing to an event being held on-course. Unbeknownst to me, my mother/girlfriend (she alternates personalities every other day...long story) was competing in the first annual "Almost Winter Solstice Bobsled 5k and Fun Run".

The ever vigilant photographer Chuky was able to get a great shot of my motherfriend after she finished! Thanks, C!
