AZTR -> SLC 400 miles of dirty dirt dirt

Hey folks, I'm just sharing this here too to get some advice on this route I put together.

    There's a thread on bikepacking.net
AZTR -> SLC 400 miles of dirty dirt dirt
    And MTBR: http://forums.mtbr.com/bikepacking-b...l#post12517215

    Here is the route: https://ridewithgps.com/routes/12431916

If you have any advice on things I'm missing let me know! I would love to be able to tie in some more single track, but big views on fire roads works alright for me.

    Thanks

Interesting route. Looks like a lot of research. I have ridden skyline drive before, and it's no joke loaded as I was at 10-11k feet, but great views. Instead of heading on highway 6 for so long after skyline drive, you might think about going north from the rest stop just to the west of skyline on some dirt roads, and hit some trails near Strawberry reservoir. Then you could head north to Heber/PC if you aren't set on ending in Provo.

Provo was the chosen end for the commute train to SLC where I could catch an Amtrak home.
There's some PowerLine trails next to 6 it seems, but maybe heading out to Baldy MTN ain't a bad idea. It depends a lot on how much food I have.
