    Anyone going to the FFTF?

Fruita Fat Tire Fest that is? April 28 - May 7, 2005

I am. This will be my first time in the Fruita area. Let's hope skiing has me in better shape than last year!

I was thinking about it but apparently I thought too long. It's basically impossible to get a hotel or campsite in the Moab/Fruita area that week.

Slow and steady gets you...7th place.

Darkan, i just went to www.reserveamerica.com and looked up Co. River - Fruita and Co. River - Island Acres state parks. There are plenty of spots (tent and full hook up) open still (I queried May 4-8). It's not too late!

    Cool

Me, being the genius that I am, was obviously looking up the wrong web-sites.

Soooo...I am thinking I will be going. Just me and my tent! Well...and the bike.

Is it just you and your husband or are you coming with a few more people?

Camping or doing the hotel thing?

Slow and steady gets you...7th place.

    Good job!

I went last year, and have ridden Fruita before.
The FFTF ROCKS! This year will be the 10th Anniversary.
Check out "Passion" for a gathering announcement.
    Have Fun!

We're meeting up with two other couples at Fruita. We're going to camp, plus we'll have dogs. All those campgrounds around there have showers. Sa-weet!

Is it crazy busy on the trails then? Screampint (whose husband is putting the festival together) said it's no more busy that Moab or Denver on a normal day. Is that good or bad?
