    Sg

St George is your only hope. Its usually pretty cold from dec 15-Jan 15 and then starts gettng better from what I remember having lived there a few years. However its not unsusal to have days around 55 degrees down there even in the grips of winter.

    Depends

What type of riding? How long do you want to ride? do you love to climb hate to climb? There is so much amazing trail in SG you just need to get down there and start riding some singletrack. Its really hard to go wrong.

Climbing is ok, but not killer climbing. Half day ride would be nice.

    Moab this Weekend?

I'm traveling near Moab this weekend and would love to stop for a day or two of riding. However, I don't want to ride if I'm going to damage trails. Does anybody have an update on conditions?

What would be a good trail that is a loop, with varying terrain and trail?

    1) Pospector/Church Rocks is sweet.

    2) Barrel Roll w/Sidewinder is also nice.

Both are in good shape with #1 being in the sun all day and 100% dry.

Anything lacking southern exposure is still wet. Gooseberry access roads are really shi##y and anything on the North side of the mesa is muddy.

Goulds and JEM are still wet too.

    Gooseberry is also

Much Higher in elevation then SG and as such is signifigantly colder. Im thinking of taking a trip to phoenix where its 70 in Jan.
