    advice

    Looking into a spring trip - mid april.
    Is the St. George area good for riding for a week with out doing the same stuff ?
    Looking for something new other than Moab. Moab seems to be getting to pricey.

    Lots to do here in St George, check out utahmountainbiking.com for a complete list of local trails. mostly it depends on how wet of a spring we have. every year seems totally different and can rule out gooseberry and others.

    Mid April should be totally fine for all the rides down in the STG/Hurricane area. I would Imagine it would take a good 4 or 5 solid days to ride everything. Stretched out to a week and you can do some of the fav's once more and do some xplorin in Zion for a Day....You wont get bored....or run outta things to do

    There's lots of fun riding around St George and SW Utah in April. Especially if you've already ridden in Moab a few times. There are some good local shops to get info from and the Utahmountainbiking.com website mentioned is a good resource.

    I am curious about Moab being pricey. Rooms? Rentals? Food? Transportation? Something else? I don't want to hijack the focus of your thread, it's just something I'm interested in.

    Have a great trip,

    FW

    Spring=GOOD

    Spring is must-do trip for our band of misfits from AZ. We head to St. George for our boys trip and just ride, ride, ride for 3 or 4 days in a row. There are WAY better videos out there than this ---- but it shows a few clips of some of the trails we did this past spring. There are several more trails we haven't done yet that are on the menu for next year. Can't wait. Yep...spring in St. George = GOOD!!!
