Wow, that's neat. I doubt I'll have time to do any displaying but it would be neat to stop down there and say hello to various folks.

I wonder why March? Terrible weather for riding most years.

I'd agree on the weather. I would think that riding would be a big consideration of where the show is held. Apparently not. March is easily one of the most frustrating months for riding in Northern Utah.

If it's decent snow, could be ok fatbiking. If it's not, BST could be rideable and decent. But March is pretty much a guarantee none of the really good mountain biking will be available.

Then again, the main focus of the bike industry and NAHBS right along with it is really road bikes. We sometimes forget around here, but something like 80% of the high end bike market is road.

Salt Palace might be pretty booked up during the more riding-friendly times of year, too.

Who knows. Still cool that it's coming to SLC, mud season or no.

I would definitely be cool to have it close to home, if only for the opportunity to check it out.

It because the main theme of next years show will be on the new and emerging line of mud bikes. A whole new segment of bikes to promote.

With the new 26.75 tire standard.

Don't forget the 117.5 x 19mm through axles. They are a game changer, for sure. All your old stuff is obsolete!

I'll also be displaying my $1200 adjustable-height hydraulic remote-activated stems. If you skip the mandatory full rebuild every 20 minutes of ride time, you void the warranty.

I think it would be fun to see. In some ways it's a good time to have it because you are just looking at bikes rather than riding. Spending some time inside while the trails melt, kind of like today.

Personally, I'll be looking for the electronically adjustable height bottom bracket and chainstay length. With that variable diameter chainring (a real thing now) to extend my 1x gearing range to 500%.
