My bike was just sitting against the really big tree you can see with the shovels leaning on it. I heard a branch breaking WAY up the tree, looked up, and saw it fall right on my bike. I went over and the branch had impaled itself on my spokes.

    Thats nuts!!

Is that a wire tie around your hub to keep it clean? Oh, and I was looking at my stock hubs on my 07 STP and I'd just bet that it came from the same factory that the nashbar hubs come from. Exact same design but no label.

its a shoelace....it works good until you ride in mud....

then that shoelace turns into sand paper

A ziptie or a rubberband also work.

Yeah, we all had a good laugh about it that day... He CLAIMED it was from the tire rubbing his ass while he was doing tobaggans.
And it's a pipe cleaner on my hub.
