Upset You 5 Spot guys Suck!

A year of Rah Rah Rah ride reports that its the best 5" bike out there. No 21" RFX to be found anywhere, No 29er Turner (still hoping one day), Highline is just a unrealistic dream I have of being a hucker. Then Turner post those anodized spot frames... Geez what were they thinking....?

So I ordered a XL ano orange today from Larry! Now to figure out what to do for the brakes, wheels, fork etc etc etc!
    blah blah blah

Welcome aboard you slacker !!! The big question is WHAT TOOK YA SO LONG? Seriously, if there is such a thing as being better than its rep, then a Turner bike is it. (4 months on a Silver Spot.......babyyyyy, and not looking back ).

Two last things: must post pics and first ride reports. Remember we can never here enough praise. Peace.........

Don't feel too bad- I lucked into an RFX in my size ealier this year, but still drool over those anodized Spots. Maybe once I actually get to ride the RFX (90% built at the moment) I'll get over it, but I have this nagging feeling that it will be too much bike for me. Hey, after PapaJohn's post this week it seems perfectly rational to have both a Spot and RFX...Seriously, those anno Spots are sweet and I bet you won't even look back- unless DT does an about face and makes that 29" Turner!

Frame pics in a week or 2 but complete bikes pics not for a while, depends on fork availability. Maverick or Fox 36. Plus it gives me some time to come up with a name to fit in with the Black ninja's, the blewballs, the gay reds and the hiho silver clan's.

I'm looking forward to the Nitrous and may pick one up.
I'll probably sell my xce and pick up a bigger bike like the highline if that ever gets done.

Damm! going from one extreme to the other! What will you be using for trail riding?
Faster is better, even when it's not.

The funny thing is I don't do trail riding. I have an Ibis Silk Ti that I ride all the time because the XCE is just too much for the trails around here. There are a few spots where it would be nice but the majority of the area would just be boring on the XCE. When I do ride the XCE I go faster but it still seems easier. I would ride a XC level bike more around here more than a "trail bike" and then use the Highline for stupid stuff because it seems like it's either smooth or stunts in this area. Though some of the stunts have been torn down recently.
Truth be told, IF Castellano ever makes the Silk Ti again with disc tabs and a longer top tube I'll probably get that and keep the XCE.
