Darren wrecked on our last outing requiring 15 or so stitches in his leg. He didn't want Renny to feel bad by being outclassed by a disabled person so he called off the trip instead.

Darren falls a lot. We're used to it around here.

I'm excited about these Totems... I figure one of those, a set of I-9s and a set of spanky hydro shifter/ders and my bike will cost almost as much as Aqua's Humvee.

should be interesting figuring out the totem 203 rotor only post mount no adaptor setup.

any ideas? currently on the 66 I'm running louise short arm IS caliper with post mount adaptor and 180 rotor. Guess I'd better call the folks at magura...

So BLACK Lyriks are available, or were you referring to the spring types?

I was wondering about this. I checked out the RS site, and it looks like the two-step air is only available in silver, the other two models in black. I was hoping for a black two-step, but it looks like i'm out of luck.

Yup, looks like 2 step come in silver only, per my conversation with Larry.

Does this mean that in the future, that the two steps [both models] may come in black as well?

Edit: I checked the SRAM website, it says that the 2 step totem will come in black too!

Are the Domains more affordable?, they look to have some nice features too, perfect for the RFX.

They retail for about $520-600 depending on the model. The down side is the weight (and the wait ) - 6.5lb. Hopefully those 35mm steel stanchions won't flex.

I was looking at the Boxxer ride but this may be an option too, lighter also, I was looking to try a bigger fork than my Z1, it's great for trail riding but I wouldn't mind a slacker HA sometimes.

Yeah, for some time now. Too many issues with the 210 after everyone started going Post Mount.

I was told the 07 louie will be either 160 or 203, post mount front and rear for the 203, no adaptor up front, new IS adaptor for the rear. Not sure how accurate that is. They just arrived at HQ, I should have next week and I will submit a full report.
Probably going to sell off the rear caliper and rotor and save someone from buying a whole set. I'll attach my old caliper with 180 rear. Sounded like full sets for now and parts later.

Call me cheap and cynical, but the Totem is an untested fork at twice the price.

At least the 06 Ride has a years worth of positive feedback and can be had at a $500-ish blowout price.

I'm with ya man, but I'm not looking at the Totem, I'm looking at the Domain, the 318 model has some nice features and Steve71 says they retail for 500-600 bones, maybe less with Larry The boxxer does provide a bit more travel though, but is slightly heavier.

Domain looks to be a great value.
Essentially a Lyrik chasis with heavier steel stanchions and motion control instead of mission control. Should be a winner.
