    Thursday morning pics 2-9-06

D-wang and I rode the Barrel trail this morning, and hit some of the new features we've found including the Cheddar drop.

Have you been to the Norba race track, or the GreenValley/Bearclaw Poppy trail? It is in the same vicinity, which is to say in St. George proper.

Only one casualty this morning. I snapped the lever off of my Gravity Dropper remote. I called up Wayne, and he said the new program is to send it in, and for $18.00, they will rebuild it with new cable, housing, and lever, and is going to put the beefier upper post on it as well. Now that is some sweet customer service. He also said that the new lever has been beefed up a bit too, as they had a few breakages early on.

That rocks. Wayne treats people right. I think I need to "break" my post soon.

I just went out to the garage to package my post up, and upon closer inspection, the head that the saddle clamps too was cracked all the way through. One more good hit, and I would've been enjoying an 8 inch aluminum enima!

I haven't lost any weight since the last time I saw you, but since then I've been spending more time at the gym, trying to strenghten my upper body for those 12 footers to flat. BTW, our biannual trip to Moab is April 20-23rd, and I've got 3 spots left in our condo. Let me know if you want to join Team Sanchez again. So far it's Lycra FR, Bob the Wheelbuilder, D-Wang, Crash the Dog, Can'tgetright, and myself.

    Exactly what I thought.

Cactus, I hope you really are planning on coming out. Bring your tape measure, I'll need it!
{Principal Skinner} Hmm. Whoever did this is in very deep trouble.
    {Martin} And a sloppy speller too. The preferred spelling of 'wiener' is w - i - e - n - e - r, although 'e - i' is an acceptable ethnic variant.

Poor man's leg warmers. Seem to work pretty well, and they are super flashy.

    Corn,
You better be careful if you go to Moab with that crew. Those St.G's boys will drink you under the table.

If by "drinking" you mean Gatorade, and hot cocoa, then you might be right. Now, if you would only sell that POS Tag, and get a real watch, we'd invite you along this time.

    October - In
April - Gonna be tough but I'll see what I can swing. With all the snow we've had this year I'll likely be skiing the corn (pun intended)

Man, you guys get up early.

Judging by those light angles I detect consciousness well before dawn.

Ok, I know that this invite was not extended to me, but . . . If the department retreat was not scheduled for those same dates I would be all over that. BTW, I will be in St. George from April 14-17 and would love to go ride with some, if not all, of you guys. I do not go nearly as big as all of you (or big at all for that matter), but I would love to watch and learn. If you have a planned ride or want to ride on any of those days and wouldn't mind me tagging along let me know.

It's always a good call to back your product up when it breaks all the time.

Sounds good. I am out that way at least 2-3 times a year and would love to ride with some locals. Sundays aren't good for me either.
