sram xx cranks + 2008 nitrous?

anyone know if the chainstays of a 2008 nitrous are narrow enough for the lower Q factor XX crankset?

I have the same question about a Titus RacerX 29er. Anyone have a definitive source to refer to?

I'd also like to stick the XX on my new flux dw. I've got a set of 2x9 Rotor Agilis cranks with a q-factor of 163mm. About 3-4mm clearance on each side of the rear triangle. XTR 970's have about 5-6mm room on each side. Anyone know the Q of the XX?

The first XX crankset to come out will be Q factor of 156. Word on the street is that we'll see two more versions --164 and 166 to allow for a wider range of compatibility amongst frame models.

Its the chainline that is important in clearance, not the q factor which is the distance between the crank ends. The SRAM XX has a 49.5mm chainline, Shimano has a 50mm chainline, so you should be able to check clearance by running your big chainring in the middle chainring position.
