Sound Checked.... Sounds Great!!! (New Pics)

May I introduce the 5.7 Spot. Courtesy of Push Industries. Very easy installation.

    Maiden voyage tomorrow morning.

I also included some side by side over each other Rocker shots for Saga Bleu Flame boy (AKA Tscheezy)

EDIT: Re-did the pics with the shock setup I'll be using. Look, I just lost 1/2 pound

No, can't get a pump to it. I overinflated it, and then released air to get the sag right. This is not the shock I'll be running. Darren is valving an RP23 for me. He also spoke of an adaptor I'll need to get if I don't want to run the shock upside down, which I don't. Long way to reach.

I also need to change out the Salsa QR seat collar, as the seat stay hits it at full compression. Looks like the Hope will work. Another call to Larry tomorrow. I just picked up a new set of X-9 shifters and R. Der. from him today

Those are some very nice looking rockers.

What do you think of the new X9 parts? I'm waiting for mine to show up in my mailbox...

no big deal, I'll just have to get a GD

Sure you can, in fact I think the DHX would have worked upside down. However, Darren optimized the Rockers for the RP3 / RP23, which is what I'll be using.

Again, no big deal. I just prefer not to reach that far to flip levers.

Couldn't you just turn it around so that the lever faces forward?

    A very astute observation

Yes, but it was my impression that the gap in the clamp should line up with the gap in the seat tube. If I'm wrong, I have no justification for getting a GD

Did you get your existing Spot painted or buy a new Spot? And when did you get a Pike instead of the Revelation?

Nice ride regardless. We'll have to meet up and get a ride in sometime soon before I go into full blown ski mode for 6 months.

Just wondering, I run my RP3 upright, but facing backwards on my standard '03 rockers. Can't you do that with these?

Looking forward to reading your thoughts on the performance.

    Thanks Rick,

Looking forward to Moab, first time for me. This shade looks much better in person, and is almost as cool as yours!

Haven't tried it, but will. Looks like I will be able to pick up the RP23 later today.

Later on performance, I had a short dawn patrol ride in this am. But so far

Yes you can. By running the shock upright and backwards you can access the valve WITHOUT an adapter, and the pp flip switch will be upright & better protected behind the rockers.

Can you get a pump on the valve stem?
Yes, see the attached pic on mount orientation. In this position you can reach the schrader valve, and with the large front radius of the rocker, it exposes the Propedal lever.

Soooo..... you hafta watch which seatpost QR you use, can't use the DHX shock, and hafta run your RP shock upsid-down, or use an adapter...???
The QR issue is a concern unless you flip it 180degrees, you can use the DHX Air if that's your choice without any problems, and you can run the shock in either direction (see pic).

    They look cool.
    The push rockers look nice.
Those are some very nice looking rockers.
Thanks....really appreciate the feedback. Sometimes balancing the appearance/functionality of a product can be the most time consuming part of the design/engineering process. Glad you guys like the look.

S-Works - If that's a medium frame you'll want to remove the blue Bottom-Out knob or it'll hit the frame on full compression. Just a heads-up...

    Bike looks nice btw...
