Looks like my kind of trails. Wish I was there, but the NW is not too shabby this time of year too. Thanks for posting the pics.

A bit OT but what Specialized tires are you rolling?? Is that a purgatory on the front? I've been on a 2.2 Captain Control (rear) for ~1 month and have been liking it so far but am also curious about the purgatory.

My dad lives there. That settles it: Trip to Colorado next summer to ride.
My presence would be the equivalent of painting lamb's blood on your frame, causing the "angel of crash" to nail me instead.

Thanks all for the good words, coolest part was jumping into 60 degree lake post ride. Or maybe because HAB deters traffic and keeps ST skinny for most of route.

MTB123, literally when riding under the log, figured you would want to ride on top of it. It's a good 8' + plus off the deck.

Pdlhrd, rear is captain control 2.2, front is eskar armadillo 2.3. Both seem reasonably fast for more aggressive treds and both seem to have good durability and weight (690 vs. 720 g's respectively). Love them both, though I'm a tubeless noob and can't tell how much benefit is simply from increased grip and small bump compliance from lower pressure as I'm able to run 35-37 lbs now vs. 40+ tubed.

Squish, come back anytime, SV ping me if you're out this way.

    .
It still looks very tempting. I hope to advance my CO exploration more north next year. I'll be in touch.
