    RP23 O-ring in Negative Chamber

Posted this in S&S and got zip:

Was servicing my air sleeve (2010 BV RP23 with HV can on DW Spot) and noticed an o-ring on the shaft on the negative air chamber side of the main seal. The o-ring is the same size/diameter of the o-ring that is normally used to set sag.

I've had a whole bunch of different Fox shocks and never noticed this o-ring before. It effectively reduces the volume of the already small negative chamber.

Anyone else noticed this? Or maybe it has been put in there by the previous owner.

Did the shim mod whilst I was there.
A green bird with a red body. We could look it up in a book. Or we could look up

That's weird stuff, when we talk about negative chambers... the bigger, the better, so it doesn't make sense to add an o-ring there.
