RFX Rant, the best trailbike, ever!`

I've ridden my 08 RFX about a handful of times and each time I'm pushing the limits more. Being older, I've been taking it easier, stopped doing drops more than 2 feet. Now I'm back to 4+ feet. That's still nothing for some of you, but for me that's a mile.

    Wheee!

I know I need to post some pics, but the bike has been too dirty and since I keep riding it, there's no use washing it.

Clean bikes are for Fo's. Post it in it's naturally sexy state: dirty.

Will a light coating of traildust suffice?

Got to admit, the RFX has really cured my UGI. Sure, I have a CCDB on order, and will prob pick up a coil fork . . . . but have no plans to buy another frame for while.

    Unless I can find a deal on a Flux or DHR . . .

Forgive my naivety, but what's a Fo? (Dare I ask?)

Anyhow to expand on my experience. I went from not being so happy when I had air front and rear to happy as a rabbit when I put on the Lyric coil and my old Van RC. Now I'm back to sweetness! D-Ville felt awesome, the trails were floating. I tried a few rock launches at fair speed that I've always wanted to before but just didn't have the kahunas to try.

Coil on the RFX is the way to go. To have air just doesn't do the suspension justice IMHO. Just my HO though, not everyones...

Gotta agree. I'm Jonesin' to slap a 36 Van on mine (or some other such coil fork) once I get my coil shock mounted up.

I agree on how the RFX really encourages more funriding. When I went to the 6-Pack I felt the same way!

TLL> I have a math equation for you: DHR + Solstice = FUN. It's theoretical at this point since I've yet to experiment on it myself, but I'd love for you to be able to prove this.

Word. Though I still have to get up there with the RFX

Once you get the HL built up you'll have to give it a shot.

What da heck!!! I'm gone for a day and you dudes have turned this thread into a farce! Keep my post on topic. I still don't know what a FO is...LOL

What's a Sultan? You stealing my thunder?

    RFX all the way baby!

Uh, now with the prices down, I might have to add a Spot or Flux to the stable. Damn, and I bought the RFX a week before the price blowout! Or anyone got a used one to sell in a size small? Please refer me to your ad (since that's how we should do it)

yep! welcome to the turner forum. whats this "on topic" thing you speak of? yer words are a mystery to me.

get a flux, the perfect compliment to a rfx. some will say all the parts are swappable.

by the way, its not so much what a fo IS as what a fo is NOT. hope that clears things up.
