    RFX prototype!

    Found this "prototype" in a friend's garage graveyard in Fruita, CO...

    Nice 20" frame in the background, looks like a GT (junk). DK stem, Powerlite bars, Cook Bros cranks, Uni seat. Nice stuff - I had all those same parts on my many Elf's and Free Agent's back in the BMX race days.

    I agree, nice video but put your damn helmet on! I would never even ride with a guy if they didn't wear a helmet. It is just dumb.

    I thought

    The first year they reintroduced the RFX was called the 6 pack but it was still a horst link bike.I still love my 02 RFX and really see no reason to part with it. The patent/ pivot change came later.

    The Burner had the lower shock mount welded to the seatpost tube.

    I will have to take a pic of his when I am over there next. His was one of the first. It have the four inch rear upgraded to 5ish rear that Dave T made of Jeremy P?? that was his pro man at the time.

    Awesome find! I used to own one of this old Burner DH for myself. Still one of the best riding bikes I had ever owned.

    Yeah, that appears to be an Afterburner I think it was called? DH specific lower yoke. No room for a front der. Or a smaller ring for that matter! Cool!
