    Question for Shimano Pedal Homers....

I just got a new set of XT 770 pedals and was shocked that my trusty pedal wrench is worthless with these. I guess the only way to tighten them to the crank arm is with an allen wrench? Anyone know the size allen that I'll need? None of my metrics even come close to fitting the mamoth hole (see Fo's Mom for reference) that's needed to be filled. I also noticed that the retension screw is an odd (small) size as well. I hope these things are as great as my past Shimano SPD's, because so far this has been a tad frustrating for what should be about the easiest wrenching job on a bike

Thanks guys...much appreciated. I'm on the road and only have my travlin' tool box with me and it's only got a 6mm in it. Guess it's off to HomeDepot or Lowes before tomorrow's ride.
