A question for Burner owners - shock settings

I've got an 04 with Fox rl. I'm 200 lbs fully geared and running 140 psi, nine clicks back from full slow. What's your setup?

    Yeah I think so too

My first full suspension. I must have measured the sag wrong. I didn't measure it with all my gear on so that may be part of it. Is there any rule of thumb on this? Thanks for the advice.

Per a conversation with Casey several months ago, start with the pressure about 20 psi less than your ready to ride weight. In my case that currently means about 210 psi.

    Thanks

Thanks for the pic, it does help. I upped the psi to 180 and am going up and down a little from there. The shock did bottom occasionally at the lower setting. The fox manual says it should bottom on really big hits but I suppose that is dependent on the definition of "big". I've only been able to ride once since adjusting it but it felt better.

BTW, I'm 210 and I found the AVA sleeve made a big improvement in the shock. It allowed me to run it firm enough to good climbing without blowing through it's travel.
