PUSHed fox AVA vs. stock ROMIC (5spot)

just picked up a spot but i am really worried about the romic pissing its guts out. i am building her up as a lighter weight trailbike. ive got a talas rlc up front tublesss, blah blah blah. anyhow, as far as shock choice is concerned, sould i stick with the romic and worry about it blowing up, or should i run a PUSHed fox AVA.
    any help would be great.

The Push shock would be less sensitive to small bumps but less bob less. I have thought about buying a Fox coil over as a back up. Cambria is selling a coil over Fox for $200. Not bad. I love coil over shocks for trail riding. They are just heavy. Either way would be fine, but I'm just going to keep riding that Romic.
