The AB's have a few demons to bury (we exorcised a few of them in Auckland in 11'). Now the MiB's need to lay to rest ghosts of 91'...

On form, one would say the AB's... but, the Ockers love spoiling our parties.

If Oz win it'll be by less than 7 :imo: if the AB's click on the day and Oz are a bit off... AB's by 13+

Carter ran rings around the frogs. They toned things down against the Boks, threw the attacking playbook out the window and kept it close hence the dour match.
I suspect the final will be much the same, unless one team creates enough of a points buffer...

Congrats NZ, well deserved. Played really well and fitting for Carter to get MOM.

    See you in 2019!

    Pfft...!!

    Know you bar-studs (manly drinkers?),
were cheering for the canary yellow wearing, sons of the sheep steelers - during the second stanza!

Hopefully a Bulls 3-peat is on the cards ^^

I'm going to have to switch and start campaigning for the Poms. They've been so embarassingly bad the last 20 years, that I feel obligated to try and help Tidy out.

    This is the year!

Did DT swear an oath not to release a new 29er until someone other than NZ win the world cup?? I hope Freebiker is super-patient...

Welcome back Roy, Iím pleased youíve finally seen the light (even though it took 12 years...). Based on what the other teams have shown so far, I fully expect England to win this at a canter.

Well, having watched the England match Iím now picking Japan to win the tournament...

England incapable of doing things like catching, passing and tackling which are kind of important.

Also, a very poor spectacle for the casual viewer - is this what rugby has become? The ball is hardly ever in play, endless pauses for resets, substitutions, free kicks, etc. Not sure why youíd buy a ticket to watch 30 blokes standing with their hands on their hips gasping for air before briefly running until they drop the ball again (or the scrum collapses yet again...)

You, of all people, should not fall for the classic Pom subterfuge where they lull the competition by feigned bungling and ineptitude. It's all part of the plan. Stick to the plan.

I hadn't realized that shoulder 'hits' had become a part of rugby. Apparently long gone are the days of gentlemenly leg tackling.

England running rough-shod in the group of death. The All Blacks will be soft, after facing so many pansies since the SA game, that they won't know what hit them when the Poms run over them like the train of destiny they are. The road to Tidybeard glory is going to be duck soup this go round.

I'm so confused...is this a cunning ruse to lull us into a false sense of security?

Could be worse though - we could be Scotland...sent home because it's raining. Isn't it always raining in Scotland?

I'm just helping my fellow Homer out. Tidy's had a rough go of it these past 20 years, so I thought it best we join him and share his pain. England to lift the Cup (in glorious fashion no less)!

One thing for sure - the Frog-beating tomorrow will be entertaining as ever.

Edit - looks like the Frogs dodged another spanking. No doubt they're walking around in unsoiled trousers for a change. Wonder how much they had to pay the WC brass?

All Blacks on track for a semi-final vs England, ABs on 16 points England on 17, if there's another typhoon it'll be like the cricket world cup all over again!!!
