The drops look cool and look like they would be fun to do. However, I don't have experience or the bike to do it. Seeing stuff like what he did makes it tempting to start trying small drops I have to admit.

Pretty good show. That guy is crazy good on a bike. I could have used a LOT less bald guy, and a LOT more riding though.

    PS Grizzlyman is grizzly poop.

I've never understood why they have to have some guys on there that don't seem to know anything about bikes. I guess it's supposed to represent an interplay between the general public and riders. Some good shots, BTW.
Want to ride in this life and the next? Ask me how.

I thought it was funny to listen to those host guys talk about mountain bikes because they obviously don't know anything about bikes. I don't remember specifics but the bald guy was saying something like so Darren when you go off this drop you have to consider gravity, compression, foward momentum, wind resistance blah blah blah, then Darren replies something like yeah I'm just gonna enjoy myself and try to stick the landing.

Again, it's obviously a show for non-biker people but was enjoyable to watch because there is such a lack of coverage of this type on TV. I'll take what I can get.

I agree. Any coverage is better than none. But atleast you got something. I managed to record "Myth Busters" instead. Cr@p!

If you get the Drop-In season 1 and 2 DVD's, Darren is in them as a guest rider a few times. Drop-In is toad's @ss.

Yeah, I think they're going to roll the tape, so we get the lovely sound effects. J/K of course.

I saw a thing on TV about that, and as I recall, the tape was rolling during that little episode. I believe his mom owns the tape and hasn't listened to it. The interviewer listened to it and wasn't able to finish it. If I remember correctly, it brought the interviewer to tears. Pretty rugged stuff.
