    New Turner for me!

Labor Day turned into a day of labor for my wife. After 6-1/2 hours, this little guy showed up.

I'd like to present to the forum Turner Louis Koch. Mommma and baby are home and doing fine.

His big brother can't wait for him to be ready to play.

Since a c-section was necessary, I won't be making St.George, but I'm a lot better with that now than I thought I'd be.

    Signed,

    A very proud Dad

edit: any help getting that photo to show up is appreciated.

    Your priorities are obviously skewed.

Nice work! Another proto-homer is born. You must have earned some swag from DT for the naming honors.

I guess I just like being married. No news on that HL I'm expecting for all of those years of marketing

I have a bad feeling that some serious photo-shop editing is about to happen.....

Hmm, I am assuming since he is an '06 that he has a TNT rear end? Cute kid!
I once corrected DW about a bicycle related topic.

Thanks, I guess I need to redefine myself now. We really are calling him Turner.

Congrats to you and your family.

Good thing you didn't name him Tony, or you might get sued and end up having to pay a licensing fee.

    Thank you.

Well, Louis isa family name, but Turner was lobbed out there early on in the pregnancy, and the more it was said, the more it grew on my wife. She has me toeing the company line about him not being named after a bike, just like his brother isn't named after an Aussie sprinter who happened to win the green jersey in the TdF the year prior to his birth.

    Bike babies, one and all.

Big congrats on a beautiful baby!
    The name is pretty cool.
Can you imagine going to school with a first name like "Ellsworth"?

Hey! Now you can change your avatar statement to say "Turner's Dad"

...from the look on his face, it seems he may have been "greasing his first bushing" A knit cap with a Turner patch would have been too much

    CONGRATS!

I wasn't even allowed to keep on my Turner t-shirt in the hospital...my wife didn't want to explain the name, and her husband's passion/insanity.

As for that bushing greasing, I think that during assembly an o-ring or seal must've been missed because as soon as anything goes in, it leaks out the other end.

On the bright side, my old fork oil smells worse...for now.

Thanks for all of your well wishes. I've spent this week at home to help out in between grandparents coming into town, and though there isn't a lot to do with the new one, his older brother and I have spent a lot of QT together, and have done a lot of bike riding.
well, I ride a bike, and he yells "Whee" and "Faster Daddy!" from the trailer.

Best vacation I've had in a while, including any bike related trip. AND (ulterior motive revealed) it has given me clearance for a Copper Canyon trip in the spring.
