    New Blue is dead sexy!

Fellas, check out what showed up today...

Funny thing, somebody called and asked if we had an 06 blue spot and we had to ship it out allready. That blue brightened up the showroom full of black and silver for a short while.

Is color back in for 06 (finally)?

    That blue sure is purty!!!!

    Is that annodized blue?

I was looking at a black annodized 5 Spot frame yesterday. It's a smooth anno and it looked great.

    Thanks for the pics!!!!

    Ano

Yeah it's the new ano blue (over polished) so it is shiny!

Uh,we got a black ano one too,but it's not as exciting looking in a photo as the blue is.

TFT are fantastic. Had a Float RL fork done, a Vanilla RC PUSH'd, a Minute 3 serviced & Zocchi Marathon S Coil repaired by them. Brilliant service & all forks/shocks much better after their tlc.

How are the Turner graphics on the frame ?

Are those stickers which can peel of, or lazer etched or what ?

DT said they are water transfer decals. He wanted people to be able to remove the logos if they so chose, but I find them an amazing pain to get off. I guess that's good.

I wish I could have gotten a black anodized spot last year.

Here's my beautiful blue anodized Psycle Werks (1998 model).

Have you tried Acetone? If you put a paper towel over the decal, pour some acetone over the paper towel, the decal will stick to the towel and come off without leaving a mark on the frame. One final wipe with more acetone, then either Isopropyl alcohol or methanon (as acetone likes to leave streaks as it evaporates) and you can't tell the sticker was ever there.

Call DT. I would suppose they could sell you a set of the transfers. I bet they are a BEYOTCH to apply though.

Holy crap, that blue is stunning!!! My rough plan is to get a highline and a 5-spot to replace my RFX. That color just made that plan a whole lot more fun.

    stop!

acetone on paint is a VERY bad idea according to turner, the sticker guys and olympic powder coating. theres a special sauce the sticker manufacturer makes for this and turner will provide you with some on request. acetone works great on clear anno so ill assume itll work on the other anno colors as well but id call turner before hand if it were me.

So, Turner has listened to their customers. Remember the research done last year? When every customer was able to give his/her reasons for buying and not buying a Turner?

One of the most heard points was about the finish.

It's definitely a very nice color, only less nice part is that it is combined with explosives (TNT ;-)

It is true that acetone will attack some paint, however, powdercoat is far more resilient. In any case, I cleaned up my 5 Spot stickers with acetone and aside from stickers being removed, everything else stayed just fine. Ano is definatelly not going to be attacked by acetone as it is a solvent and ano is essentially a layer of oxide fromed on top of naked aluminum.

So what are the benefits of anno?

Is it lighter and less prone to being scraped?

I ask, b/c I am going to get my Flux warrantied today, and Greg said something about a new color for the 5 spot.

    Sure does look cool!

Tobbe in Sweden was worried about what would happen if "Pricken" ever died like Lundatok's did, but I bet this will put his mind at ease.
