    My next hobby?

Bicycles are cool. But, I'm always looking for the next big adrenaline fix.

I would venture a guess that the life expectancy of folk involved in that sport is kinda short. It does look like quite the rush!

No Schit, Jay!!! I did a double take when I saw that.

I first saw this at the Banff film festival a few years back. It was shown on the large screen in an IMAX theatre. Just off the hook, insane.

If the Banff film festival comes to your town..it is a must see. There's lot's of MTB vids, climbing, and general outdoor adventure stuff.

    Kool vid!

I went tandem hang-gliding once and it was incredible. The biggest surprise was how rough a ride it was. When you see people hang-gliding it looks so graceful and smooth, but depending on the area, it can be quite the opposite (kind of like turbulence on a plane). The landing was the sketchiest part though. The ground came up REALLY fast and we ended up getting our feet tangled and face-planting.

I've also gone skydiving, which is incredible too, but if I were to invest in a new sport, it would be hang gliding or paragliding (probably paragliding), mainly because you don't need a plane and you can pretty much stay up as long as you want.

    Fun stuff!

Yeah, well I'm not an adrenaline junky

so I can cooly look at the risk/reward payoff of something crazy like this. Check out this linky before you "jump" into this, Aqua.

I saw that film awhile back and couldn't believe my eyes. Your not allowed any errors in that sport. In other words no climbing back up and redoing a section untill you nail it. SPLAT
