Inquiring minds want to know, will you be providing a comparison review to the X-5?

    P.S. The picture isn't working.

the odds of myself ordering one just increased by a huge amount. i'm starting to part it out in my head. i'm thinking black black black, representing the dark side of full sussy and gears. black frame, black Middleburns....gotta stop thinking about it.

    --edit--
just built one up on WrenchScience....$4100. ouch. sub-30lbs, at least, which is lighter than my Imperial (1x9).

    so i see you're running 2 rings...24 - 34? i "plan" on using 2 rings and an e13 DRS.

and yeah, black and gold...evil combo. i've got a gold King headset sitting around that's waiting for a home. i saw in another thread some black decals with a thin chrome outline. those would be badass.

Yes, I hear you. We need to ban posting pictures because all it does is give us ideas on how to spend more on our bikes. This upgraditis thing is really out of hand. Please post pictures of bad ugly bikes only.

Just ask CrashTheDog...he'll tell ya all about it!

Nice combo... I like those B&G calipers...I was thinking about the black rear triangle too. How about I paint my Romic spring gold too...BLING BLING BAAAABY!!!

Y'know I saw an ad for the Nixon, and felt that sharp stab of upgradeitis again...If that thing comes in 1lb lighter, with a 20mm thru...and is 6" and I can ditch the remote for a crown mounted lever.... uh oh, my wallet is smoking again.

I rode the x5 for about a month running different rear shocks, rockers, and forks
really getting to know how they all interacted and affected angles, snap, plushness, etc..

then I rode a quasimoto for about a month cause I never actually owned one...

now the 5 spot and I will run different rear shocks on it

My HH100X is my main bike, I love it probably more today than I did 2 years ago
but I like playing with other bikes and I need two working fs bikes, my ti 100x gets demoed out, this weekend I let a customer borrow it for a race for example
I am not going to be without a bike!
running through various bikes and really riding them gives me real world data..
so when I am talking with someone I am not just reciting ad hype
plus, it's just a lot of fun!

    Charles,

Couple o' questions. What are your weights coming in at with your current set up? With the Propedal/AVA, Talus, Eggbeaters, and Marta SL's (I'm guessing), you've got to be dropping below 29-30 lbs. Which size of Kenda BG's are you running?

New question here. About to pull the trigger on this one.

I知 just about to order this exact bike and build in an XL. My first new rig in 7 years. I知 on a Ventana Full Suspension now.

I weigh 250 (trying to get to 225) with no big drops. I mostly ride in Los Gatos and Santa Cruz CA.

Anyone have any comments about this build? I知 about to go with it.

The last hard part is choosing all the component colors.

The new decals look well smart, are these together with the Fox Shock a early 2005 release?
