New question here. Minimum seatpost insert?

    Hi guys

How much is the minimum seatpost insert required on a 2006 Flux and a 2006 5-spot?

Both bikes are medium and i have a Thomson seatpost thats 350 mm for both bikes...
But I was wondering if 9-10 cm insert is enough?

Would it be smarter to run a 410 mm Thomson, that would give about 15 cm?

    Regards

I think Thompson recommends 3 inches and if I'm not mistaken DT recommends 4 inches, so 10 cm should be fine.

Thanks for the quick response :-)

Where did you see the Turner recommendation?

I read it on this board. If I recall DT said 3 in will work , but recommends 4 in. Now Jenna J might disagree with that, lol. You may want to do a search for on minimum seat post insertion or something to that degree. It should be on here.

Must have been slightly blind there for a moment ...

Youre quite right, its right there in the FAQ :-)

    Thanks again.
