New question here. Magura Marta Brake pads - Galfer or Alligator??

I have had good luck using the $12 Galfer pads for my Martas. I see PricePoint has the Alligator Ceramic Sintered Brake Pads for $5.

    Any comments?

Don't wanna go broke saving so much money, if ya know what I mean...

Like I said, I have enjoyed the Galfors.

I am going to order a pair of each and I will try out the Alligators...but hey dude - not on a downhill run the first time :-)

The Galfer pads are OK until you get them wet. Then they howl like crazy. They are a little weaker overall than the stock Marta Pads.

Magura strongly discourages the use of sintered (semi-metallic) pads like the Alligators. I'm curious how they work out if you try them.
