Let it rain..let it rain, Marin Stoke!

The up side to a rather soggy Spring. Some great waterfall's here in Marin. This is back side of C.C in San Rafael. Lot's of Turners out today. 4 5Spots and a Sultan.

    A Hole In The Sky...

It had been a good time since I was on that trail and what great conditions... Next time I need to snap a few shots!

    Looks like HT country

I am going to Santa Cruz in April. I am jacked about trying some California single track. It has rained every day in Washington in the month of March. I'm ready to scream!

    Great shots!

did your brake pad survive? Last time I was out there, we got caught out in the rain and I went through a new set of pads in a single ride. I think there's something particularly abrasive about the soil on the dominican side..

No problem with the brakes! In fact not a single squeal on the down hill. Those trails are for me with out a doubt the best trails in Marin that I have found to ride post rain storm.
Check out the water flow on this shot.

Was just up there for a lunch time ride, on my flux of course.
No fewer than four ticks burrowed in various parts of my body over the course of 1.5 hours.

yep, I always do 20min. tick check when the brush is wet on this trail. Same thing last year...I found 7 ticks that wanted my blood!

    Nice poach stoke!

Post this on the Norcal forum and get lots of naive ninnies whining about publicizing these trails that have been ridden by mountain bikers for decades...

The thing is that the place is popular now it is not even a poach! We just don't talk about them or use names and directions...
