Now if they would just borrow the "lateral rigidity" philosophy from Ventana, they may be on to something. Or not.

While they are at it, they should claim their bikes are 110% efficient.

And maybe they would dare say they have the same level of QC and CS as Turner and Ventana

Come to think of it, I was reading this raving review by an undisclosed (at the time) Intense employee and apparently there is no better bike. He doesn't mention any other brands, nor his affiliation with Intense.

Props to them for giving proper credit, rather than buying a questionable patent and claiming it as their own creation...

Well shoot, there goes all my business ideas!

Best PR is when someone else says something good about your company/product. Best PR +1 is when it comes from a competitor.

I used to put "nipple" zerks in my bikes* starting back in 1988, and had a Fat in '92** that came with this so called compact zerk***. Not sure which frame builder pioneered this as OE spec, but you may possibly be off-side on this claim****.

(edit) Looks like Turner was early with this, perhaps first.

*Correction/clarification - this was in the BB.
**Further research shows this to be a '96, but I tested this bike (with zerk) as a proto in '93. Chris actually let me take the bike home for a few weeks from Interbilk. Damn that was a long wait for the production!
*** This was in fact in the main pivot.
    ****Or not...

P.S. I still have the Fat.

    summer of '93

That is when we put the first grease fittings in Turner bikes. They were not installed in the dropout pivots for a few years but the 3 main pivots had them.
