Wow! Heal up fast JNC! Does this mean you will have lots of spare time to make those pretty Turner logos?

If you dont mind me asking, did you do this biking?

    Rest up and take care!

wow, so is this a new injury, or just having surgery to rehab existing issues?

heal up good man. You're certainly not alone in the injured reserve.

I'm having trouble orienting on the scans.

Do I see a SLAP & biceps tendon repair?

    How was the labrum?

Looks to me like you have some chondral defects as well.

Spill the beans & heal up.

Man.......you'd think with the modern miracles of medicine and all, they'd come to the operating room prepared.....and not have to use a damn shoelace once they got in there.

What's up with all the shoulder surgerys? I suggest some bike clinics to improve your skills

Truth be told, both JNC & I faked our surgeries just so we had time off from work to play with our video games.

Hey Jay, you finish Assassin's Creed yet?

The biceps tendon had no damage. I believe it was another labral repair (SLAP). Dr seems to think the issues were related to my PT fr5om the first time. First therapist was initially too conservative & when we tried to make up lost time...injury occured.

    Not familiar with chondral defects

SLAP & labral repair - that's what I had too.

On the last pic I see something that looks like a chondral defect. Not that you can do much about it, but it would be good to know. Ask the surgeon at the postop.

You get the scalene block? If so, you'll be sitting pretty for 12-15 hours. Then watch out.

And don't forget to ICE, ICE, ICE, ICE, ICE

    No block???????????

You sure do things differently down there in Virginia.

Tip: Start taking colace (docusate) 1 tab twice daily with lots of water. And a few servings of Benifiber mixed in orange juice won't hurt either.

And ICE ICE ICE ICE ICE ICE

    Now that's painful.

Didn't realize you had this coming up- we should have found a way to ride when you were up this way last weekend. Saturday turned out to be beautiful.

Yeah, it was a very busy stay this time. My next trip home will have a mandatory ride as a priority. I'd like to hit up Kingdom trails for sure

I always liked the Kingdom Trails but honestly preferred the Waterbury network. Check it out sometime.

Hope the result is a little more positive this go-round Jay. Heal-up quick.

16-20 weeks - that just about right to start getting ready for HIP.
