    Nah, he knows his stuff!

I believe I saw him on a highline in the SRAM booth in les 2 Alpes, France.

    2 years

and counting. HB switched for 2005 and is a great guy for bouncing ideas off, of course he bounces ideas off me as well. To my knowledge he never recovered the bike that was jacked in Phoenix with the proto Totem on it.

I remember HB from those weekly TV OLN MTB shows. You know, the ones they don't do anymore.

Cacti, you do know Zeke is Italian for Enzo

Greg "H-Ball"Herbold was the very first Downhill World Champion back in the days in 1990.
He is also a member of the Mountainbike Hall of Fame.

next thing youll tell me is porsche is italian for ferarri.

got a chance to meet hball at cactus cup '94. colorful in person as he was on those old shows and movies. i became a fan of big head todd and the monsters due to that shows use of bittersweets guitar solo in the intro. good show and a shame oln dropped all that coverage.

so Herbold would be somewhat of a legend.

Back in the day his autograph meant something as a groundscrubbing grommet.

I saw him in the Sram tent at the worlds which was kind of a old school buzz. Even more impressive was seeing Frischy, a rider of a similar generation, race to a 6th place finish in the XC. Herbold's RFX was taking pride of place in the Sram tent sporting either a Totem or a Lyrik (I don't recall which) and some funky RS rear air shock.

Friday night at our house is Pizza and movie night. I thought I scare the kids a bit and dug out a VHS of a movie my wife and I liked a lot "American Flyers"

This guy looks like the guy who played "Belov", the Russian cycling champion. Alot of the movie was filmed in Colorado, where I live now.

Yeah, that was pretty cool seeing those pics and HB posting. I loved watching him on the OLN show too.

PS: checkout Airwrecks pic of HB a few posts above. He, again, was ahead of his time: Riser Bars.
