    Heavy heart

Hi, yes itís with a heavy heart I am purchasing another bike. If only Turner had a reliable importer and distribution in the U.K. Importing from the USA is far too expensive.
I canít find a bike shop in the UK who supply Turner bikes. About 7 or 8 years ago Turner changed its distributer. Wheelbase a big, well respected bike shop in the Lake District stopped supplying. The area is a mountain bike hub for the North West. Turner was accessible to most of the North of England or further afield. Finance deals available and a sense of security if anything went wrong.
Mr Pink, Prof and a few others use to contribute to this forum. They are from the area. Having bikes on the trails is the best advert and signposting to where they can be purchased was by word of mouth. The bikes did the so called talking.
Not anymore. Turner is a niche small manufacturer with a great reputation. Itís just a shame itís standing in the UK is fading away.

Wheelbase never imported Turners but they sold plenty including a few to me,the importer was from Warrington a chap on his own.Yes it's a shame Turners are hard to get hold of these days But my rfx is still going strong but a nice carbon 140-150mm 29er would be cool!

The 29ers just roll so fast and I fancy a change but will hold on to the rfx it's such a fun bike.

So here once I went to my local bike shop and asked them if they'd be willing to be a "Turner dealer". Way out here in Hawaii on the island I am on it is difficult getting stuff easily. At the time (the shop is now gone), the guy went and agree'd and did the paper work so I could "acquire" a 5 Spot.

I waited. No Sultan for what is it now, 2 or 3 years?
That was long enough to carry a flame for Turner.

Thank you. Itís great to see such compassion.
Just putting a serious spin on this, can everyone learn first aid, CPR and consider becoming a blood donor and/or organ donor. Our sport is dangerous and you may need another person to save your life or you could save someone. Thanks

So, Santa Cruz Bronson C 2 2016 new bike with £1k and a bit discount. The bike has not been ridden. Pike, GX, Reverb, SLX brakes, SRAM hubs and Raceface chainset + rims and other bits and pieces. So with an extremely happy and lucky heart I couldnít turn away from the Santa Cruz. Or put it this way I couldnít afford a Turner or feel I had the U.K. back up. Iíve still got the 5 Spot so my allegiance is shared.
