Yeah, what's up with that. I'm with Scott from MI on this one- Giant can't buy a break from MBA.

    "Jacked"

On a sort of related note, why is MBA still being published?

    Oh well, I guess I'm a hater...a MBA hater.

You'll see that (almost) anything goes on the Turner forum. Check out this thread for a "WTF are these people talking about and has everyone on this forum gone insane" type of thread.

In actuality, SSinGA's post actually referenced Turner, so it was relevant.

BTW SS, congrats on the 5,555th post (that's a milestone to celebrate).

The whole "Turner Hater" thing is something that you have to stick around for awhile to get a feel for. Kind of a "know it when you see it" type of thing.

Or, I'm psychotic and I don't know what the hell I'm talking about. Either way, things around here are entertaining. Have fun.

I feel cheated as well. It's up to Tony Ellsworth to give me that time back, for no particular reason.

You left an important second step out of the list:

8:20pm sit on crapper and read MBA
8:25pm wipe with MBA then wash hands due to contact with MBA (gross)

I saw MBA in the thread title and thought SS had gone back to school for a grad degree. I didn't even associate it with Comfort Bike Action.

No bashing on what looks like an Els bike either.

WFIW I remember looking at the article on the Liquid and wondering WTF. I mean why didn't they just do a search and replace for Remedy? I don't get publishing a review of last year's discontinued bike.

he actually has a valid point. I don't think his criticisms is aimed at turner, its aimed at mba. don't forget that before turner went tnt we all thought very differently about cs pivots.

I noticed that, and am curious about it, too.
Also saw in one of the issues that they now have a fleet of Santa Cruz bikes, I wonder if that's in addition to the fleet of Giant Trance bikes they have

I have no idea what you are talking about. Don't worry though, apparently you weren't the only one that didn't "get" my (feeble) attempt at humor.

If a bike company doesn't give them demo bikes, they do not support them in the mag-I think that's the deal with their non-support of Giant.

    That is funny

One benign comment about Turner and MBA is a hater. But, some Turner homers can absolutely get wicked mean towards Ellsworth and it is okay. The hatred of Tony E is nuts. Most of you don't even know his tail.

I'll handle this one SSINGA- I owe you one, and there's probably a good chance you have Jaybo on your ignore list anyway.

Jaybo- it's obvious the thread's title was in reference to the guy writing MBA (complaining that they were going easy on Turner and its ilk since the switch to TNT), not the magazine itself. You should at least gain some understanding of the subject matter before you let loose on one of your rants.

Furthermore, "hater" is a sucinct and tongue in cheek way to describe those who do not fully buy into Turner's "propaganda", much like "homer" describes the other camp.

But, some Turner homers can absolutely get wicked mean towards Ellsworth and it is okay. The hatred of Tony E is nuts.
Calling someone a "hater" does not in anyway put them on the same level as TE. They would have to personally go after RRoeder for riding his bike in Fruita and Moab, re-word magazine reviews to make their bike look better and other bikes look worse, and generally act like an asswipe to reach that level.

Most of you don't even know his tail.
So just how familiar are you with TE's tail?
