    Fashion consult please

I need help for my budget build RFX. I am trying pair up new budget brakes against my budget wheelset.

As you know, aesthetics (though based on my perverse preferences, aesthetics nonetheless) are the only thing that matters to me. weight is pretty irrelevant too as I try to do the opposite of what a real homer would focus on.

My plan has been foiled and i am grateful to trailadvent showing the HORRIBLE clash between red hubs and the venti rotors so now i have no choice but to put poor Chad through my schizo personality again and change the order AGAIN (he has the patience of a Saint I tell yuh).

So.....i lost sleep not being able to find pictures of the new Hope 2-piece rotors with red inserts up against red hubs. Since Hope red is not the same as King red, at least not on their hubs certainly, I worry if i went Hope M4 with red it too would clash and that is just no acceptable.

So if not M4, I may just get the new Codes cause they are really cool and would add weight to the bike which is another plus.

Can always just tell chad to use regular rotors for the Louise but that would be too logical.

Any help would be greatly appreciated during my crisis and I think Chad would be most grateful too so he can get the rid of the Fo'

Cactus - you took the words right outa my mouth (except the nipples part - no nips on the I9's bro -unless you were speaking of the new hub only offering from I9).
    Nothing to see here.

    Ohhhh fer Chrissakes!!!

This could be the genesis for a new reality show.

Queer Eye for the Straight Mountain Biker. Starring Fo Confuzzled. The pilot episode would have poor, fashion challenged, mountain bikers show up at Fo's doorstep with their horribly mismatched bikes. Fo, would then spend the rest of the show driving vendors and manufacturers out of their minds with his antics.

Mackie....you work for HBO, right? Sell 'em on this new reality show concept. If it's half as amusing as watching this trainwreck...it would be a hit!

    Sho,

I was going to drive down to ride Sleeping Child Creek today, and stop by at Chad's. You mind if I drop by to pass along my estimates of your best setup for maximum Homer impression? I think you'll really like the way I help Chad set up your bike. It will look nicer than all the Homers' bikes combined. I'm going to bring along some day-glo Krylon for the GD seatpost, for that "custom anodized" effect. Just what color day-glo will be the big surprise.

The other color I've chosen will go on your spokes before he laces them up.

And I have a paper bag full of neon-colored SpokeyDokes -- 32 per wheel, right? -- to really doll up that thang.

It'll be a poster child for Pansybike.com, which ought to get you maximum Homer envy.

First impressions are everything, right? Here's a photo that the Shizz used during his audition for "Queer Eye for the Straight Mountainbiker"...

FoShizzle - need some advice. I'm waiting for some bits to complete my Flux build but am stuck on one very important point. I need to decide on the colour for my headset spacers. I have an anodized silver Flux (Tina 2.0) with the pink breast cancer awareness Chris King headset and a silver Thomson X4 stem. Should the headset spacers be silver or pink?

    Thanks in advance.

Thanks but I don't trust fashion advise from straight men so I'd rather get Fo's confirmation.

Was my joke too harsh? I'm new to this Homer thing and it seems that Fo is a natural target.

Too harsh? No. Not harsh enough! You are spot on. Your target is a natural.
