    DHR Bearing Problem - HELP!

Basically, my pivot shaft in the needle bearing (Journal bearing?) has somehow fubared itself. Its on an 06 DHR btw.

I can no longer get a bolt through it. The previous owner got it part way through, but then it got stuck so it cant be tightened. Anyway, i whipped it apart and managed to get the bolt out... it took a vice and some brute force!

So, im left with a pivot shaft thats internal diameter seems to be too thin? But Turner don't do replacements in the kit anymore. I've emailed Greg but he hasn't replied yet. And i feel i need to sort something out!

So can i drill the shaft? As its just a few mm too thin. Or is there anywhere i can get one from?

    Many thanks!

    You sure?

What are you actually talking about? The main pivot or the linkage bearings?

    Linkage bearings.

    They have a pivot shaft.

Ive sorted it now. Gave the old owner a ring, cheap Ti bolts that were slightly too big havent done it any good. So i've swapped some of them out for spair ones i had kicking around from my 00/01 DHR frame.

    Thanks

Glad you got it working. I just use hardened black steel bolts from a hardware store. Stronger than the stainless stock ones.
