    Desert stoke

here's my first (and last) attempt at video shooting and editing... a desert ride last Friday. a 6 pack, and a couple ht's and my blue 5 spot.

freeekin' awesome....I loved the Miles Davis meets the Negev soundtrack [who is that?].....great choice of musical soundtracking - really gives it a tension you don't normally see in your usual vids [that use a boring deathmetal or rap track] - Tov M'od!

    That terrain is really otherworldly.

So that was on the moon, yeah?

Gnarly terrain; I guessed Israel with a little help from the soundtrack and your profile seems to confirm that

PSI - Great vid. I will catch up with you evebtually. been too busy riding around Beit Shemesh every day.

For you guys who don't know Israel, don't forget that PSI titled that a DESERT ride. We have just about evrything here - that's just one region. We also got dis':

    <a href="https://photobucket.com" target="_blank"><img src="https://i231.photobucket.com/albums/ee154/yehudanachum/CIMG2317.jpg" border="0" alt="Photo Sharing and Video Hosting at Photobucket"></a>

    and dis'

Lots to see on a Flux and a Spot 'round here.

More to come - just gotta get up to the mountains around haifa..... maybe PSI can toss a few of those in the mix.

thanks. the piece is called "Khmer" by Nils Petter Molvær. i grabbed it cos it sounded "desert-y" and liked the way it made a rather laid-back xc ride look ominous...

    Great!

I wish I had a picture of Pete with his point&shoot camera attached to his helmet with a velcro strap and a tripod bolt.
    I thought it was hilarious!

Well, now that winter is slowly showing it's face around here, it is "desert trips season" as we call it. The weather is just right for those long rocky paths in the middle of nowhere!

As Yehuda mentioned, the scenery drasticaly just by driving an hour or two. forests and farm land are only an hours drive away.

Hope to see some more vids from you in the near future...
