CK Inset 5 Upper headset bearing cup for the RFX v4.0
The FSA upper bearing cup on my RFX v4.0 needs a replacement..As Works Component headset 49/62 is a difficult item to source in Asia, can I use the upper bearing cup of the Chris King Inset 5? the ID of the Inset 5 is 49....
Any suggestions guys? thanks.

This is good info, how about the lower half of the headset, I cannot find a CK or Cane Creek 110 that is 62mm diameter. Any ideas? I need something well sealed, as my stock headset bearings are rusted and grinding after only 3 months.

How about trying to just buy the bearing separately, what specs does it have on the outside?
Rolling on 29", 650b, 8.3" and 23mm

I have not changed the lower half of the headset, still with the FSA. I have applied a lot of Phil Wood’a grease on it regularly and it’s stayed smooth so far...

Try searching " RFX V4.0 headset options? " on this site. It should help you with your problems.

The RFX and the Evil Wreckoning seem to have similar Headtube sizes..it maybe worth to check the headsets that Evil bikes currently use
