Best Chainrings?
I have tried XT and RaceFace Team chainrings. I think that I eat up the middle rings very fast and wanted to hear suggestions for a strong long lasting chainring. Have heard good stuff about Blackspire.
Is it bad karma to run a mix of different kinds. My inner and outer rings are still ok. Was thinking of leaving them on and I have a new XT handy for the middle. Do ya'll think that will work?

I use TA Chinook 104 BCD Middle Chainring and they last for ages. They are sometimes difficult to get hold of.I use the middle ring nearly all of the time in the winter due to the trails i ride, muddy and slow.

Surly makes a stainless steel "middle" ring that will wear your chain out, not the chainring!
It's non-ramped, so it won't really shift that great, but if you got a 1x9 setup, then it's bombproof and will last longer than you'll care to keep it.
