2.6 Maxxis Rekon on a RFX

Will the new Maxxis rekon in a 2.6 fit in the rear triangle of my RFX? Anyone run these on that bike?

I ran the Maxxis 2.8 DHF's front and rear all winter. No clearance issues.

Really? What inner rim width and was clearance good enough for mud?

My Tallboy's getting pretty close to replacement age, and a long travel 27.5 plus bike is looking attractive. Would be awesome if the RFX reliably fit that bill as I loved my Sultan a few years ago ...

My rims are the easton Arc 35. So I believe 35 mm is the inner width. I had no mud clearance issues. I was running the same set up on my burner before I cracked the frame. No clearance issues on that bike either.

Nice, thanks for the info. I'll be adding the v4 RFX carbon to my shortlist for next year then. Plus tire clearance with 142 mm rear spacing makes it pretty attractive, as I could build my Tallboy's hubs to a new rim ...

Running the 2.6 Rekons F & R on my RFX. Awesome for So Cal summer. No complaints and plenty of room.
