Weight of an '07 Fuel EX 6

I've been looking at getting a new bike lately, and found an '07 Fuel EX 6 for $1k in an LBS. But, I was wondering, how much does it weigh stock? I'm wanting to begin XC racing next spring. Would this be a good bike for it?

Probably the best deal you're gonna get on a new bike. I'd go for it. Why not just ask the LBS to weigh the bike? I'm sure they have some sort of scale up there. Or you could bring your bathroom scale.

My 2006 EX 6 weighed 32lbs. The '07 was a carryover from the '06 model year if I remember correctly.

I wouldn't pay $1k for an EX 6. Its a great bike, but heavy and the components are not that great for the $. I just sold my EX 6 on here today for $750, sorry you missed it!

Keep an eye on Ebay and the classifieds here. You'll run into a motivated seller like me who will cut you a great deal.

For the most part. Only notabale differences are LX crank instead of bontrager and MC 3.3 shock instead of MC 2.
