Trek 4300 vs 7300 hybrid vs Rockhopper frame strength

I just bought a Specialized Rock Hopper to replace my 4300 that was stolen,I thought the 4300 looked like a tougher frame than the hopper and liked the geometry better on the 4300 for road going rec riding,is it a tougher frame? and is any hybrid frame lets say like a 7300 trek as tough as a Rock hopper or a Trek 4300 or what is tougher than those for a 300 pound plus clyde?

I am building a Hybrid with down hill 29s that I can beat on good with out breakage trouble and any help would be great . I just about had my 4300 perfected when it was stolen and nobody has a 4300 22.5 replacment so I jumped to a 23 hopper to convert to 29s.It looks promising but how tough are the frames? thankyou!

It will be similar to the 4300, both are good quality aluminum frames. Why didn't you buy a 29" mountain bike?

For what I do I prefer a 26 frame because I put 200mm cranks on it and a 26 raised with 29s will not strike the ground with 200's.

I think the 26 style frame converts into a better do it all rec, road, offroad bike.It could just be me because I am very limited on bike Knowledge so thankyou for helping me!
