Bontrager Tires - XR4 Expert vs XR4 Team Issue

I'm thinking about going tubeless on my Stache, and was wondering what the difference between the Bontrager XR4 "Expert" and XR4 "Team Issue" is. It has the same description for both tires on the Trek website, and I can't find anything online about it.

I'm 99% sure it's the rubber compound used, the team should be a softer, grippier (but faster wearing) compound. I have the XR4 expert on the front of 2 of my bikes, and couldn't be happier with it.

Team Issue are TLR, and possibly this affects the cushy feeling of the shoulders - and their robustness....but I have to say, I haven't tested the expert xr1 myself (stock on my SF) since I swapped them directly at the shop for a pair of XR2 team issue.

Bontrager do not say anything regarding the compound....who knows..

I've run two non-TLR Experts converted to tubeless, and they work great, though they take a few more rides to completely seal.
    Whining is not a strategy.

XR4 Expert has a 60a/50a dual compound. The 'team' XR4 has a 62a/60a dual rubber compound

Generally the best grade tire has more tpi/threads per inch in the casing, 120 vs 67 in some tires. Making it more flexible. A Vitalmtb review of the SF 9.6 found the XR1 Expert oem 2.2 tire only 1.75" and low enough volume to kill the rear compliance of the carbon frame. With the Team XR1 that frame has much better compliance and performance. So two different tires in size, flex and performance. I ride that frame and like the Team XR1.
