Lots of views no answers? I'm going to race mine a few times this summer, DH at Snowshoe WV. I may try to find a DC fork for the races, if not I'll be on a Fox 36 LOL.

    I race mine DH.
My R9 is way too much of a bike for most DH courses here. I sorted out the geo I was looking for in a shorter travel frame, and the large Bottlerocket matched up perfectly to what I was looking for in a frame.

Rides perfect for what I was looking for, couldn't be happier.

When I recieved the bike the derailleur was toast and needs replaced. (think I mentioned it in another post you are in) . Aside from the that, I want to look at tire choice and really just play with the suspension settings to suit me. I eventually want to switch the chain guide. Thats about it really.

I've raced mine a few times, super D's, Hood Bridal Trail DH... Anything where the terrain is on the smooth side and you don't need tons of sag or slack geometry.

The Bottlerocket is undeniably quick, and obviously it can be built light and nimble. For Super D or pedally DH courses, having a Gravity Dropper on the bike makes a TON of sense.

Hit the Bottle, it's Transition's most versatile bike!!
