V3 must be the 2011 model which has adjustable seatpost cable guides.

While i have your attention how are you all liking your coverts? I'm on an uzzi right now and am not really enjoying it. Back end is super flexy and bothers me quite a bit. Just got rid of my xc bike and was looking for something i can still have fun on and build light enough to take on epic all day rides.
considering this and a remedy, thought about the nomad but it's too close to the uzzi which i plan to keep and turn into my dh rig

Steve.E is correct. The V3 is the 2011 model, which is the same as the V2 for the most part. It has cable guides for a remote operated seat post, offset ISCG tabs for those running dual rings setups with a chainguide, and our new 44mm zero stack upper headtube assembly.

As for how do I like my Covert - it's rad! Setup with an air shock for AM and touring duties or a coil for a gravity/AM machine.

Sounds like an ideal bike for me will the V2 and V3 both work with an AM hammerschmidt?

I love my Covert. It feels light, it's very stiff (acceleration is great, my other bike is a hardtail), running stock RP23 it's very plush, pro pedal works great. It feels very stable at speed and jumps really easily.

I have a non-travel adjust 160mm fork on the front (BOS Deville) and it still climbs ace.

"offset ISCG tabs " Does this mean the ISGC 05 guide I just bought for my V2 won't fit?

I just ordered from the information on the Trasition website which will be for the V3

The bike will work fine with ISCG 05 guides.

Should not be any issue on the latest 2011 (V3) frames... orange, black or polished. The tabs have been offset for more room.
