I know machine building tends to be a little bit hit and miss, but I like to think I hit more often than I miss. Ran into some rocky sections like this going across this ridge and re-arranged rocks until I had something I could drive across without sliding off the side of the ridge. We'll come back and wedge smaller rocks into the cracks big enough to drop a tire into and call it good.

The crew in Carrabassett Me have done some really nice work with machines. I can't find any pictures on the NEMBA site, maybe someone has some. They dig with machines, and get a lot of square granite. Probably my favorite machine-built trail in NE.

Nice. Not much rock round here. Its mainly loam and tree roots. Lots of tree roots!

There's a reason why this segment is called "For Those About to Rock" (FTATR for short):

^Great stuff. I used to ride there back in the early/mid 90s. Nothing like that there back then.

Waywayonda (sp) has some great stuff as well.
