Potato Creek State Park (IN) & NIMBA Announce The Building of New Mountain Bike Trail

    For Immediate Release

Potato Creek State Park and NIMBA Announce The
Building of New Mountain Bike Trail

The Northern Indiana Mountain Bike Association working in partnership with Potato Creek State Park want to announce that a proposal to build a mountain bike trail in the park has been accepted. The trail was approved after a substantial discussion and review process.

The trail will be located in the northeast corner of the property and will be several miles in length. The Northern Indiana Mountain Bike Association and Potato Creek will be partnering to develop a trail that enhances the park's facilities while respecting the natural environment.

Trail building days will be determined late this fall, and updates can be found on the NIMBA website at www.nimbabike.org.

Potato Creek is Northern Indiana's largest state park located just 12 miles from South Bend with a variety of natural habitats around the 327 acre Worster Lake, with a wide array of activities and facilities for year-round enjoyment.

NIMBA is Northern Indiana's largest mountain bike advocacy group, and has helped to develop and maintain trails across the Northern Indiana region in partnership with other advocacy groups, land owners, and management agencies.

    Congrats!

It's nice to see headway like this being made. I'd love to one day post something like this here.
