You'd think it would be obvious. Our group recently recieved a $2200 grant from REI, so "obviously" we wrote a thank you letter to both Corporate Giving, and our local store. Our local community liasion person told us that we were the only group that's ever written a thank you letter for a grant award. That just flabbergasted me, who would NOT say THANK YOU??

Another one our our store supporters has let us know that the kind of thanks they get makes a difference on how they consider future support.

It only takes a few minutes to write a letter - in fact, you can keep a template on your computer and just change a few things... but man o man, what a difference it makes in how your group is percieved!!

    Hey Formica,

    Congrats on the latest grant!

A couple of month ago the state of Texas announced the RTP grant awards. I'm going to research the projects and look for potential bids now! Wish me luck.

It's rumored he's savvy with a cheesecake too.
Since when did Need have anything to do with this?
