    Check out my rack.

My local MTB organization recently purchased a tool trailer and I built the storage racks to go inside.

I used 1x1x1/8 angle for 3 sides and 1/2 electric conduit for the front.

6 inch nails and R-clips will hold the tools in place and shifter cable keeps every thing from getting lost.
Pieces of 3/4 conduit and 4x1/4 bolts are used to space out and hold the two sides together.

13 racks total. Painted safety yellow to hopefully prevent people from smacking their noggins into them while working in the trailer.

You can get the pins tight enough that the tools don't move or bounce around at all.

The swinging tools will sit with the head on the floor and the handle upright with racks holding them against the wall.

Having the retainer wires on the cotter pins is a great idea. Me, I would have dropped a bunch in the mud and lost a dozen or so before settling on something similar but involving duct tape and cussing. Your way has superior functionality and aesthetics. Nice design, thanks for sharing!
