That's great news. As a member of our local bike/hike club it's good to read about other's success. I'm sure there's a much bigger story here - maybe meetings with State Park land managers, wandering around in the woods looking for good lines and features and more.

When you get a minute I'd love to hear some more of the details.

Congratulations on the grant and trail breaking.

I thought potato was spelled with a trailing 'e' in Indiana.

don't know what kind of tools you are after, but we bough a few of the $49 Mcloed from Forestry Supply and my tool guys are pretty happy with them.

Been quite a process to get to this point. (Just hoping mother nature doesn't snow us out.)

Tools we're going to purchase are Pulaskis/McLeouds and a digital level. We've got the shovels and rakes, but not everyone has a Pulaski/Mcleoud in the garage, doubly so in the midwest.

If anyone want specific details drop me a PM and I'll be happy to share a long winded explanation. But what it basically boils down to is several P's - Perserverence, Professionalism, Politeness, Potential, and it becomes Possible.

And PS- FT2000. Indiana's started to catch up... First Daylight Savings time, and now even more state parks are being discussed. Plus Dan Qualye's not critizing TV characters and correcting how kids spell.
