Messed up my Sram X01 derailleur, any way to save it?

    Hi
I was rebuilding my sram x01 derailleur due to creaks. After building it up the clutch spring was too weak, so I googled around and found an guide that said you were supposed to turn the clutch bolt half a turn. Apparently that guide was relevant to Type 2.0 and mine is 2.1. Unfortunately, after rotating the bolt this happened (see photo). Do you think its ok to use the derailleur like that? Can I just fill it will some silicon based sealant to stop dirt getting inside or is it a goner?

Looks like it is a goner. Good weekend though, everything is on sale, so good time to have to buy a new one.

Buy one for backup. Then run the broken one for the next 2-3 years. When it goes, you'll have a new replacement and won't have to replace your entire drive train for $4k.

I'm with Fahn on this one. Unless i'm not seeing more than meets the eye, I would continue to ride that.
